On a gloriously warm Saturday a large group of us went to the Denver Botanical Gardens. Apparently March is not the best time of year to visit if you're expecting to see anything green or blooming. I didn't care since dead and brown things make just as nice photos as green and blooming things. What really matters is sunlight, form, texture, composition, etc. I have no idea what sort of plant this is but I really love the texture and the way the sunlight was hitting it. I also have some really cool shots from the indoor tropical garden which did have green and blooming things that I might share on my regular blog.
