Day 246: May 8, 2012
Ethan dragged his tee ball stuff out to the backyard to play ball for awhile yesterday afternoon. I watched from the patio chairs under the umbrella where it was nice and cool. I also treated myself to an iced Dutch Brothers drink...why not?

The scotch broom is blooming which means I'm itching to get out to the field to get some pretty photos with the yellow blossoms in the background!

I hopped on the merry go round with Grace at the park to try and get some fun photos. Unfortunately it was the middle of the day with terrible lighting, and going around in circles meant the lighting changes were drastic and quick so I'll have to try it again another day. Still fun!

Not my best photo ever, but captures our every day. Grace loves playing with the super heroes just as much as Ethan, as evidenced by this photo taken during Ethan's nap time!

Grace and I were having fun taking macro photos together. She was having fun looking at herself in my camera lens and I was having fun photographing her facial features. Since she was in a rare cooperative mood for such an activity I took advantage! I had her look down for a few shots since I rarely get to photograph her pretty eyelashes :)

Grace has been really needing a haircut for awhile now, and Angela did a fabulous job trimming her hair to be less of a mess without taking too much off since Grace is trying to grow it out a little. The smile says it all!

The Momtographers photography group I participate in had a maternity session at the local park for a friend of mine who is pregnant with baby #4. We had a great time and I got completely soaked and in the end this is my favorite of the morning.

I was trying to see how my 135L handles sun flare but the sun was a little too high in the sky so instead I got this photo of the pretty bush in my neighbor's front yard. Love the little bit of orange leaves up top!

Awards night at Awanas, this was taken during the ceremony and after Ethan managed to smear half the ketchup from his hot dog all over his face.

I took this as I walked in the room to wake Ethan up from his nap. The room was dark so the photo came out grainy but I still love it because it's so him!

Took a trip down to the field with the intention of getting a shot of Ethan I like for a canvas. I got a lot I like but haven't convinced David on any of them yet! This is one of the first I took once we got there.
