It's a me...Luigi! I scored this costume at Walmart for $4 today and Ethan is obsessed with wearing it. He insists on wearing the entire thing, including the fake mustache every chance he gets. Isn't my little Luigi cute?

November 3: Day 300

I did an impromptu photo shoot with my kids tonight because the sunlight was absolutely beautiful! I had the kids dressed and at the park and were done taking pictures within an hour. In my haste I forgot to throw my reflector in the van so these were taken in an open field with the setting sun behind the kids with no kind of fill lighting. Just my camera and my nifty fifty. November 2: Day 299

The evening light was so amazing tonight I actually drove back home in the middle of running errands to grab my camera. For you locals, this is the field by Little Caesars (our dinner!). Beautiful. I love light like this!

On a side note, I've been playing around with logos again so what do you think? Like it? Hate it? Ambivalent?

October 31: Day 297

Happy Halloween! We had friends over and took the kids out trick or treating in the dark. I didn't bring my flash because I'd probably blind the poor things with my speedlight so I have lots of dark photos. I appreciate the houses with bright porch lights! I'm also glad I thought ahead and did the kids' costume photo session prior to Halloween. Will definitely do that again next year!
